The HOPE Project offers a variety of free and confidential services. Our services include:
Outreach Services
Trained outreach workers provide information and materials on local streets, in bathhouses, at house parties, clubs and other locations.
Speakers Bureau
Who can talk to any group, class or gathering about HIV and other heath concerns.
Library Program
Offering medical and behavioral studies designed by Black people, using Black subjects, or testing Afrocentric theories.
HOPE Newsletter
Is a quarterly publication that discusses various health concerns as well as gives notice of health education programs offered by the HOPE.
Health Issues Mailing List
Maintained by HOPE to keep the community informed. This list is never sold, rented, or loaned to any person or organization for any reason
Discussion & Support Groups
A safe and confidential environment to talk about life, love, HIV, family, coming out, spirituality and other topics
Community Coalition Building
Is designed to increase access to health services by developing a liked network of HIV, STD, tuberculosis and drug abuse service providers. (Click to check list of coalition members).
